Beloved
I dedicate this poem to my parents for all their love and affection.

I gaze into the eyes of my beholders.
Watching them as they witness my forlorn existence.
I feel much pain in almost every aspect of my being.
For they do not understand my complete emotions.

Even, when I walk down the street,
I feel strangely compelled to scream at the top of my lungs. . .
I AM NOT DEFEATED. . . Yet I do not say a word.

I have survived through numerous terrors and sorrows.
I have gone through almost every situation.
I have been frozen in a time of emotional betrayal.
I have been forgotten by other individuals.

I continue to stand strong,
Awaiting the time of which I will be at peace.
I wish not to be discouraged.
I wish only to be. . . Beloved.

Time

Time is an everlasting gap,
Between creation and destruction.

For every second, minute, and hour seems to last forever.
You don't know if you are coming or going.

The only way you are immune to Time,
Is if you had never existed.

Time is the only thing,
That is in the front and back of you,
Always.
